Unveiling CSDevNet’s Nigerian Office Building: A Beacon of Progress and Collaboration

The Climate and Sustainable Development Network (CSDevNet) celebrated a momentous occasion in its journey recently – the official commissioning of its own office building! Located at Woods and Bricks Estate Lugbe, Abuja, Nigeria.

This impressive structure stands as a symbol of the network’s dedication and a testament to the unwavering support of its members, partners, and the Nigerian government.

The Board Chairman, Professor Ibrahim Choji mni, described the office building as “not just as a physical space but as a hub for collaboration, knowledge sharing, capacity building, and community engagement.”

He envisioned it as a catalyst for progress and a canvas to be painted with the strokes of dedication of each member.

Dr. Samuel Ogallah PhD, a member of the board of trustee, gave a brief history of how CSDevNet has evolved over time, “CSDevNet has been operating from various temporary locations, from occupying a mini-store as an office space ten years ago to this edifice today; however, with the commissioning of the new office building, CSDevNet has a permanent home,” he added

He acknowledged the past National Network Coordinators and Staff for their unwavering service, commitment, and contribution to the network’s success.

He said, “This building is a testament of all the members’ support; without the member organizations, there will be no CSDevNet”.

Hon. Sam Onuigbo former member of Nigeria House of Representative was accorded the honor to commission the building.

“I am pleased to be part of the opening of this new building. The story of this building is the story of how small beginnings can translate to great things. The commissioning of this new office building is a significant step forward for the climate movement. It shows that businesses can be profitable while also being environmentally responsible. It is also a sign that the demand for sustainable office space is growing.” He said.

The commissioning of the CSDevNet office building marks a significant step forward for the network. It is a tangible symbol of the organization’s progress and its commitment to building a better future for Nigeria.

With its dedicated members, strategic partnerships, and now a permanent home, CSDevNet is well-positioned to continue making a positive impact on the world.
