This initiative focuses on the art of soap-making, a low-cost, high-impact skill that offers women the opportunity to build small businesses, generate income, and contribute meaningfully to their communities.
The project underscores the potential of sustainable entrepreneurship in improving women’s livelihoods while reinforcing their roles as leaders and agents of change.
The core objective of this project is to empower women through soap-making training, entrepreneurship development, and increased financial independence. By teaching women how to make handmade soap, the initiative will also highlight the broader economic benefits of sustainable, ethical, and creative businesses.

The ultimate goal is to foster self-reliance, promote women’s entrepreneurship, and contribute to gender equality by offering a platform for financial and social empowerment.

Women’s economic empowerment cannot be over-emphasized hence the need for creating their own businesses, women should achieve financial independence and contribute positively to their families’ economic well-being.
Also, the activity increased awareness about the vital economic contributions of women and the importance of supporting female entrepreneurship, particularly in rural and underserved communities.
This project aligns with the theme of International Women’s Day 2025, “Accelerate Action,” by directly addressing gender inequality through economic empowerment.
By equipping women with the tools to succeed in soap-making, we are laying the foundation for long-term change that will help build a future where women are seen as equal contributors in business and leadership.
Through this initiative, we not only empower individual women but also catalyze widespread social and economic transformations that can foster gender equality and uplift women globally.
