Following the National Review Workshop on Nigeria’s Draft Third National Communication (TNC) to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), Climate and Sustainable Development Network (CSDevNet) has launched a call for inputs from the Nigerian civil society with a view to enriching the document.
The call according the National Network Coordinator, Atayi Babs, is opened to all member-organisations of CSDevNet as well all forward-looking civil society organisations in Nigeria. “This call, Atayi said, is part of our plan to open the document to a constructive review and criticism by a wider spectrum of the Nigerian civil society with hopes of forwarding same to the consultants for possible inclusion in the final document.” “The inputs will also form a baseline of our plan to submit civil society inputs to the Department of Climate Change ahead of the Fourth National Communication to the UNFCCC (FNC), he added.
